Best Western Jaco Beach Resort All Inclusive

Unfortunately, my experience at the Best Western Jacó Beach was marked by serious security deficiencies and an insufficient management response. During my stay, I was trapped for several minutes in one of the elevators, with no perceptible ventilation and difficulty communicating through the emergency devices, as it was necessary to make several attempts before getting a response. Furthermore, I became aware of another similar incident involving hotel employees, which highlights the need to comprehensively inspect this equipment and adopt urgent measures to protect both guests and staff. In my opinion, despite the seriousness of what happened, management did not provide an adequate, comprehensive, or proportional response to the situation. The attention received was insufficient given the security deficiencies evidenced and the distress caused by the incident. I also witnessed the rough way in which a goose that entered the facilities was removed, even though the animal was not attacking or posing an obvious danger. When I expressed my concern about the treatment given to the animal, I received a disrespectful response from the staff member in charge, without the administration satisfactorily addressing the situation. However, it would be unfair not to recognize those who did provide excellent service: the restaurant staff distinguished themselves by their kindness and human quality. Their good service deserves to be recognized, but it does not eliminate the serious deficiencies in security, management attention, and complaint handling. I recommend special caution when using the elevators.

This is a great property in a wonderful location. Budget friendly for the seasoned traveler. The food was OK. The staff were great overall and Jelsin is the best resort bartender I've met in my travels. Rumor has it they are renovating soon, I look forward to visiting after they are finished.

An excellent hotel, the service is highly recommended.
