Hotel Carara

Knowing that there is a town called Tarcoles was important and that there is a beachfront hotel there, very important. The hotel has parking, swimming pool, breakfast and beachfront. It is a simple but basic hotel, bed linen, cloths, soaps, toilet paper, air conditioning and cable TV. It has no shower, coffee maker or fridge but they offer rows and let in all kinds of meals because they have no restaurant. Nearby there are sodas that provide express service to the hotel as well as several minimarkets to buy what you need. If you want to eat in restaurants, there are also places nearby. If the hotel needs a little maintenance but nothing to affect the stay. Good choice!

Lousy administration, when we made the reservation was made by a family member who for health reasons could not accompany us to the trip so the reservation was changed in the name of someone else. Days before I wrote because they had told me that breakfasts ran by them and I wanted to corroborate before traveling, they had lost my reservation that was already paid. By the time they stopped blaming each other for the mistake they had made I was informed that the room only had two double beds when the booking had been made for 6 people I even had images of the conversation with the manager and still wanted to charge me extra for a suitable room. We arrived at the hotel on a Saturday to leave Monday, to resolve the above I had to talk to the manager and the owner Amir and by the time I was already in the facility I am informed that on Monday my family could not use the pool as the mep had rented the facilities on weekdays, which I was never informed until already being on site and having to cancel my vacation because of an error by them, neither the manager nor the owner showed my face at any time even to apologize for their small forgetfulness that my family had to cancel our tourist plans

The Staff are amazing! This is the 2nd time we stayed as a group. Jora the manager is excellent, Claudia is lovely. This is a Costa Rican hotel. We had a group of 7 and they found us all rooms. The breakfast is good as was our dinner. We stay at the beginning and end of our trips to break up the drive to Santa Teresa the location is perfect. We will be back!
