A great place to be. Fine and a delicious breakfast. The hospitality of Marlene is superb and has also arranged the boat trip with Lalo who was also well worth it. Don't expect luxury but it's clean and everything is there! We slept here two nights and would definitely come back if we come back to Costa Rica again.

What an incredible experience. The elderly gentleman that ran the place was the kindest man I've ever met. Food was great! Rooms comfy ,great air conditioning. Staff excellent! We felt at home. Such kind caring people. Food was great! Fun!

I landed in Kayak Lodge as there were no other options over new years, and it turned out to be the biggest blessing. It is located 15 minutes outside of Quepos in a very quiet and relaxing location with a swimming pool. The owner is a real angel, she makes everyone happy and fulfils any wish. She also organised a boat trip through the mangroves to our a little island without any people for swimming with a sweet local man. If you look for luxury and nice tourist location that is not for you, if you want to get a feel of local Costa Rican hospitality that is THE place.
