Playa Espadilla

Small hotel with 2 sites, a first one with a pool and close to the beach and the second one 3 minutes above with a second pool where you have breakfast and meals. Very comfortable bedding, air conditioning in the room, very good breakfast and friendly staff. Very good stay 5 minutes walk from Manuel Antonio park

We stayed for 5 nights as a family of 3 and really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect only a short walk to the beach, Manuel Antonio national park and local restaurants. The pool area is beautiful and quite often had it to ourselves. The grounds and the rooms are kept immaculate.the room is modern and well equipped. We saw so much wildlife from our patio- deer, iguanas and lizards, monkeys, birds, Agoutis. The staff are friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

Had a nice 2 night stay at this hotel. Rooms are clean and are all ground level. Each room has a nice seating area right outside the room. Pool is warm and clean. Parking is available. Breakfast is served across the street at the sister property…Playa Espadilla Hotel, about a 2 minute walk to breakfast. It’s open air seating and also has a bar and pool area that you can use. Staff are accommodating and friendly. The best part is that you are a 5 minute walk from the entrance to Manuel Antonio National Park. You are also right across the street from the Manuel Antonio public beach. On our departure day, we wanted to do a half day at the beach before we drove to Monteverde. Although we had to check out of the room by 11am, the hotel let us stay parked there and use the showers in the pool area after our time at the beach which we appreciated.
