We spent 2 nights at Vista las Islas while visiting the Nicoya Peninsula. Communication with the hotel was excellent and Anja was very helpful in setting up our taxis to and from the ferry as well as for a nature walk in Curu Wildlife Refuge with Milton Hancock. We loved the outdoor restaurant with beautiful views of the Gulf of Nicoya. Staff did not speak a lot of English but were very friendly. Food was good but service was slow. Our room was at the very bottom of the hill so it was a steep climb on stairs and a ramp to reach the room each time. Dragging our luggage up to Reception on our last day was a bit of a struggle. Our balcony had a beautiful view and comfortable chairs. It was lovely to have fresh flowers decorating the bathroom upon arrival.
