Radisson San Jose Costa Rica

Large room but with a bad smell of dampness and very outdated furniture and fixtures. Not very welcoming. The common areas are the same; they have seen better days. Very, very far from any reasonable 5-star standard. The breakfast is mediocre. There is some variety but no quality, and overall it is basic, lacking any charm or care. The dinners are worse. Of the two nights we had dinner, each was worse than the last. I do not recommend it at all. I would only highlight the comfort of the mattress and the pillows, and that the shower had great pressure.

Deficient facilities and cleanliness. I found two insects, one of them a horrible cockroach in the bathroom. The hotel is humid, and you can hear the noise from the air conditioning.

The area around this hotel is sketchy. The rooms were adequate. The staff were very helpful and the restaurant was nice.
