Located next door to a casino and about a 6min walk to the huge Multiplaza Escazú (even though google shows a wildly inaccurate route taking 37min!). There's a lot to see and do at the Multiplaza so it is well a visit.
Our check-in was a lengthy experience but at least we were upgraded to a 6th floor executive room with access to the executive lounge on the 7th floor.
Our room was a typical size with shower room but there were no luxury touches such as robes or slippers. The TV included a lot of channels (including HBO) but unlike many other hotels it was not possible to switch the audio to English.
There is a pool and 24hr gym on the 8th floor. The gym was a reasonable size whereas the pool was really just a plunge pool.
We did, however, enjoy our time in the executive lounge which included pretty decent food in the evenings coupled with great service. The Wi-Fi was good throughout the hotel.
Overall, this is a fairly average hotel which is fine for a short stay.
