Apartments Mare

The photos of the apartment that they show have nothing to do with reality, those rooms DO NOT EXIST, it is a private house with the owner of the house sharing a terrace, there is no privacy whatsoever. THEY DO NOT EXIST either the kitchen or the living rooms or anything that they advertise. , The rooms are interior rooms without windows and the one with a terrace is shared with the owner of the apartments. SCAM and misleading advertising that I have had to report in court.

e booked this apartment thinking we were in Dubrovnik with a sea view but we were put in the other property in Milne with no sea view, they have 2 properties and if we would not have emailed asking for a cot etc and to book the airport shuttle (which does not exist even though it says so on the sites) we would of turned up at the wrong place. All in all the apartment is clean and we had fresh towels every day but there are no windows so its more like a basement. its right by the bus stop to Dubrovnik the number 10 but its approx £9.50 a day return so it can get expensive if you go every day. Its about a 15 minute walk too the Milne beach which is stunning but stoney not sandy so get beach shoes, and there are some nice restraunts on the way down there. The lady who looks after the apartment does not speak english only spanish but she was very pleasant and kept the apartment clean. there is also air con at no extra charge which is unheard of these days. there is a big supermarket across the road so we had breakfast at the apartment every day which saved us quiet a bit as Dubrovnik is very expensive.

Ariana was a FANTASTIC host! Our room was ready and available 3 hours prior to check in and she was kind enough to let me stay after check out due to a later flight. The location is great, just a short 20 minute walk to the walled city. The studio room is small, but the spacious patio more than makes up for it. Who really spends all day in the room anyways? Having a kitchenette was nice and there was a washing machine which was unexpected. I would definitely stay again; great value! Thanks for a fantastic stay, Ariana.
