Croatia Hotel Cavtat

Extreme overly priced me and my partner just bought two chocolate milkshakes for €15.80 , they don’t even taste like chocolate ! The cup was only half full. Also we had a Swedish massage yesterday at €101 each which was also very poor. Beautiful hotel however you would just expect more and better quality for the price you’re paying.

On arrival our room was ready on 8th floor room was lovely and modern .Beds very comfortable . Pool was on level 5 with 135 steps down to beach area. Sea was so lovely to swim in. Beach bar nice coctails and food. Nice touch having the buggies take you down and back from the marina . Loads of lovely resturants in Cavtat . Would recommend lucky bar to watch the sunsets. Would come back in a heart beat. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We were sadly disappointed with this hotel in Cavtat, although Cavtat is a fabulous place we have visited before. We had to move rooms as my travelling companion was unable to walk the very long distance to reception / pool etc. We were moved to a terrible room ( 642 ) with a double not twin beds and a completely overgrown balcony making the room dark with zero view. In order to get a seat around the pool you had to get up at 7 and reserve one - no attention being paid to those reserving multiple beds all day and not turning up into 4 or 5 pm. Much of the pool is shaded. Pool bar food not bad if you avoid the risotto and pasta which were undercooked and tasteless. Toasties and wraps were fine and staff here were good. Very mixed staff otherwise - some ( the younger ones ) were usually friendly and helpful, but not all of them were. The main disappointment was the food - not a 5 start experience at all - more like a school canteen. On the plus side the location is great - golf buggies run in and out of town to hotel. The hotel is very clean - nice comfortable bathrooms. Overall not a hotel we would visit again.
