Hotel Dubrovnik

This hotel is quaint. It's on a walking street (no cars) and very close to the beach, which seems to be it's main attraction. There is no pool, but the cafe and bar attached to the hotel are excellent. They were hosting a World Cup watching party the night we were there, and it was packed. I went up early and couldn't hear a sound from the party. The rooms are comfy.

Popped in for a meal looked quite busy. Staff were friendly 1 star calamari starter was tasty 1 star. That's where it ends mains were really small everything looked frozen and reheated. Asked for tartar sauce (considering they had a number of fish dishes) was told mayonnaise or ketchup at which point 2 big plastic bottles were put on the table. Seriously don't bother much better restaurants around

SCANDALOUS – Overcooked risotto and rigged bill Never again. Dinner with friends completely ruined. We start with 4 very thin slices of cheese for 18 euros THE FISH RISOTTO: Overcooked, sticky, without salt, only the taste of garlic, inedible. Soggy grains and terrible flavor. We left it all there. Serving something like this is a disgrace for anyone who calls themselves a restaurant. Zero respect for the customer. THE RIGGED BILL: Outside on the menu it was clearly stated that the risotto was 15€ per person. We ask for the bill hoping that the risottos left completely on the plate would be deducted, and instead, in addition to finding them on the bill, their price had magically become 19€ each. €4 more for no reason since the risotto was in the "special offer" at €15! The waiter, feeling sorry, goes inside and intercedes for us, asking that at least the risottos be deducted. Result: they deduct the two risottos, but not for the price they had put on the receipt, but magically with the offer price of €15! A joke. Thank you, the least you could do since you served us an overcooked and inedible risotto. 1 star is even too much. Zero if it were possible. STAY AWAY
