Honestly, this has been an excellent surprise ! This is a gorgeous place to stay ! Everything was perfect ! The owner of the place is pleasant and very nice ! Very impressive view of the city ! 2000% recommend.

Steps down to old town - 278 Steps up to apartment from the street (carrying luggage) - 142 Room for very basic, showerhead trickled and didn't project. Aircon leaked during the night, woken up to dripping water and a soaked chest of drawers. Had to improvise by putting a bin under the aircon drip, lining the bin with kitchen roll to prevent dripping noise. Room view was very good, overlooking old town. Good quality fridge, lots of wardrobe space. Table outside in the garden overlooking old town however, a strong stench of urine was present and didn't go. Josip was fairly friendly on first meeting. On last night in the room, asked when we were leaving because he had early guests arriving. To avoid all the stairs Josip mentioned a dirt track which wasn't very clear or luggage friendly. The steps to Josips apartment were very tiring even to 20 year olds. Definitely very hard with heavy luggage.

We stayed here in early Oct 2016 and it was perfect for us. Josip was very friendly and very kind to us. The room was perfect and everything was in working order. We had fresh oranges from the beautiful trees in the garden available to us and it was great. There are quite a few steps to go up to get to the apartment but this is actually ok and well worth it! Would recommend to anyone to stay here who appreciates great views, comfortable accommodation and a friendly host.
