A very cozy restaurant with often in the evening live musicians. Choice menu is diverse and deliciously prepared. Staff are very customer friendly.

Villa Amfora is located in the area of the port of Dubrovnik, close to the embarkation of ferries to the Elaphite islands and to major ones such as Korcula and Hvar. It's a small b&b where you can breathe a "vintage" air: my room, tiny, has dated furnishings and a bathroom, covered with flowery tiles from the retro style', with a shower with curtain and a water heater positioned almost at man height. There is also a mini entrance where a built-in wardrobe is placed so narrow that I can barely store something inside; to open the suitcase I have to put it on the bed because there is not enough space. There is also a fridge and a TV in the room, which does not broadcast Italian channels. The room overlooks the main road, which is very busy, and this makes it difficult to fall asleep. Good thing the noise subsides at night and I can sleep. On the other hand, however, the b & b is tidy and well cleaned (cleaning and change of towels and shower towels are carried out daily). Breakfast, both sweet and savoury, is satisfying. The lady who runs it is kind and welcoming, prodigal in providing all the necessary information. The cost of 90 euros per night for the double room with breakfast, is affordable, given the high prices that go around the city.
From the b&b I can easily reach the Old Town, taking buses 1A or 1B, whose stop is next to the property. In conclusion I would recommend this property to those looking for a cheap and dignified hotel solution, for a short stay.

Nice experience! The BB is located above the restaurant of the same name and masterfully managed by Nina, always present and available! Perfectly located to reach the old town, the port and the bus station, in a quiet but full of life neighborhood! The rooms are a bit dated, but spotless and comfortable. Breakfast above expectations. Dubrovnik is not a cheap city, but this property is great value for money!
