Villa Anka

Had a last minute stay here, for 3 nights. Friendly enough lady who ran it - but I wasn't treated to the same home made items others mention. For £30 a night which I spent, it was fine. Clean and tidy room with hairdryer, mosquito repellent and TV (although god knows how you work it). However, rock hard bed, miss-match towels and hangers and a strange kitchenette that you could reach from the bed. I think it would have been better to remove the kitchen part altogether and just have a larger room. My one main complaint though, is the lack of an internal lock on the door. I could lock it from the inside with the same key but for peace of mind, especially as a lone traveller, I would have liked to be able to bolt the door from the inside too. Good location to the town, albeit down a very steep slope. Cavtat is well worth a visit, and I'll be returning but probably not to stay here!

We stayed for one night. The bed is great, comfortable. You have everything you need in the apartment. TV, sink, fridge, balkony, own toilet. Only one thing we didn't like was the climb, since the apartment is located on a small hill

We stayed in September 2019 in Villa Anka. Host Anka and her husband were very friendly and helpful during our stay. It was great that we could park the car directly at their house. They were always helping on questions we had and were very hospitable.
