Villa Doris Apartments

Very quiet place near Dubrovnik ideal to rest without the tourist hustle and bustle that the city has. Complete room with living room, bathroom and own apartment. Friendly and family host. Beach across the street. To the rear a common terrace.

The apartment is very close to the small beach and a restaurant, you can get a good breakfast for an additional fee (fresh figs are great), and the hostess Rosa is nice. However, the apartment is very small, only one room has AC, and, most importantly, there is not enough hot water pressure to take a shower. The bathroom is small, and shampoo is not provided. The entrance is down a narrow winding road, but the parking is adequate.

Made a late moment Booking. Tried to get in contact with owner, no response. Just went there and called the number on door because nobody answered. Got a sleepy sounding daughter on the line and said her parents were probably sleeping. Had to wait another 10 minutes outside before somebody woke up. Room (small studio apt) was very basic, no renovation since the 70’s, very sober. Shower didnt have fixture so you have to help yourself. Only luke warm water. WiFi so so, very thin blankets. Best part of this hotel is the bay view and the free parking. Wouldnt visit again
