Villa Flora B&B

I stayed in this accommodation for 6 nights in early October. It is located up a side street off the main Stradun. Reaching the apartment involves climbing approximately 50 steps. The main issue with this accommodation is the lack of light but I suspect that most apartments in the old City of Dubrovnik face the same problem. The accommodation was clean and towels were changed daily. A fridge and safe were available for client use. The bathroom was rather small and cramped. Breakfast which was excellent was provided in another building close by. The staff were most attentive and helpful. In hindsight I would have stayed outside the old city and travelled.

Just what we expected from a building within a medieval town. A basic no thrills tired looking but spotlessly clean accommodation located mid way up a long steep street with many stairs. Excellent breakfasts are served in a separate more modernised building a few streets away.

This is a very nice place on a quiet street, in the heart of the old town. We arrived early,1000, planning to stash our luggage until the room was ready. We arrived, the door was locked, and there was no one inside. Fortunately, a neighbor heard our knocking and calling and came to our aid, knowing the code to open the door. There is no concierge, only three rooms. There was never anyone there, other than other guests. It's a good place to stay, close to everything, and on a quiet street. But, be sure you can get in. Villa Flora or the booking agency through whom I booked, should have sent me info about how to get inside.
