This was the perfect hotel to arrive at after an overnight flight. Our room was not ready, but we were able to shower and get in our swimsuits at the spa. We found 3 lounge chairs together down at the beach and ate a delicious lunch. When we got in our room we were stunned. The view was breathtaking and I could have sat on my balcony all day. Breakfast was lovely.... I always appreciate health options. We would take ubers to old town (so we didn't start our time there already hot) and would walk back to the hotel. This hotel was truly a treat. We were sad to leave.

It is a hotel for which I am very angry to have to give "only" 4 dots.
The location is splendid and all the staff, none excluded, are truly professional and smiling. Petra at the reception and the maid Candela above all.
The breakfast is varied and tasty with every possible choice.
However, there are some defects in the property that cannot be overlooked given the caliber of the hotel.
In the room, you wake up at dawn because the automatic curtain and the blackout blinds are not effective at all.
The gym is really nothing special.
Access to the sea should be explained better. The hotel's sun loungers are on a small balcony, and to access the sea, you have to slalom between the bathers on the public beach. There isn't even a shower reserved for guests. With a few adjustments, it would be a 5+.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel. The location is excellent, around a 20-minute walk downhill to Pile Gate and Dubrovnik Old Town. The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere, is spotlessly clean throughout, and the staff are exceptional – genuinely friendly, attentive and helpful without ever being intrusive.
The restaurant and bar are both excellent, whether for a midday snack, the gorgeous breakfast or a romantic evening meal overlooking Bellevue Beach. The setting is beautiful and the service consistently excellent.
The spa is relatively small, as you might expect in a boutique hotel, but this adds to its peaceful and exclusive feel. Again, the staff were wonderful.
There is a private hotel area by the beach with sun loungers, and we never had any trouble finding one. The beach bar has a good selection of food and drinks, with complimentary iced water too.
The only downside for us was the noise. Bellevue Beach itself is public and very popular with locals, so it can become extremely busy and lively from early in the day until well after dark. This sometimes took away from the otherwise romantic atmosphere when dining outside in the evening.
We stayed in a Superior Double Room with sea view and balcony, which was a good size, very comfortable and immaculately clean. The bed was excellent, although wardrobe space was limited. Light sleepers may want to bring earplugs, as noise from the beach can carry and we also found some sound travelled through the walls and floors.
Overall, a fabulous hotel in a beautiful setting with outstanding staff who really make the experience special. A little noisier than we had hoped, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it.
