We had a very good stay at Hotel Kristal in Opatija. Everything was smooth, clean and well organized, and the hotel delivered exactly what we expected. A special mention goes to Borna at the front office. He was professional, helpful and reliable every time we needed something, without being pushy or overdoing it. He simply made the stay easier and more pleasant. Overall, a solid hotel with good service and a very good front office team. I would gladly stay here again.

Come to Hotel Kristal a lot because of my husband's work. Very good hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Neat rooms, good beds, bathroom small but fine. Buffets extensive and tasty, something for everyone. Sublime location, bar terrace and terrace of restaurant with sea view. Pigeons are sometimes bold, but if you take precautions it is funny rather than annoying. Back exit is on the waterfront promenade and 50m from cozy bars, coffee and ice cream parlors. I'd love to come here. Price / quality a hit!

It's an old hotel, but everything is very clean. The water in the pool is just the right temperature and salinity. The food for breakfast and dinner is very good and there's nothing better than eating on a beautiful terrace with views of the sea in all directions. The room also has a beautiful view of the sea and Rijeka. Especially in the evening. The entire staff is extremely friendly. The only downside is the parking lot. Opatija is really desperate with this. It's already hard to get a parking space on the street. We were lucky that the hotel parking lot wasn't full.
