Lovran

It was off-season and cheap, so I stayed two nights. The room felt a bit small, but I only slept, so it was fine. I just heard the smell of cooking and the music coming from the kitchen downstairs, which was offensive. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location was good with supermarkets and restaurants a short walk away.

Hotel dated its best years have passed for a couple of decades, I must say, however, that the staff did everything possible to make you spend a pleasant holiday. Dinner vote 7 and highlight the breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea really spectacular.

Lovran hotel has seen its best times a couple of decades ago. I would say it is an outdated hotel not only from the appearance but also in the minds of people running it. We stayed in a room 403, which had a broken shower fixation and no proper dark blinds. Parking is in front of the hotel but not very convenient and must be closed every time, when leaving. The room itself is very big but in my opinion overpriced. Breakfast is average and people are smoking on the terrace for breakfast as everywhere in Croatia. It would have been nice to forbid smoking on the hotel premises but… no. And people with kids have to stay inside, because you cannot ask everyone around you not to smoke.
