Apartments Johnny

We booked 20 days ago trusting the reviews.. this is a stop on the motorbike trip from Greece.... The first day I write the arrival time as 3pm...then terrible traffic and the heat delayed it... From the reception they wrote to me asking what time I was arriving...it was an hour to go and I said 18.10.....we arrive 18 20... Reception at the bottom of a staircase we were dead from the heat and fatigue no help or at least ask if we needed... He tells me whatever right away...I ask possible after entering the room to leave the luggage...after 10 hours of motorbike riding at 38 degrees... No check in... ok let's check in Pay...I'll reply tomorrow morning. No no now.....how.... Okay... first card doesn't work... strange, used an hour earlier in the service area... second card doesn't work... I wonder does your position work... and the girl certainly works today. ..my wife's card doesn't work....we pay cash so we can get it over with.... Decent room, what we needed... after 20 he didn't write to me that he had spoken to his manager if we wanted to try the cards again... Of course I said no.... I ask if breakfast was possible, answer 15. Per person..it wasn't even offered..I answer more expensive...answer you are welcome... The next morning I'm loading the motorbike and the girl arrives in the car and not even a good morning....very little...let's say enthusiasm....Avoid

We only stayed here for one night, but had a lovely stay. Large balcony with sea view, and just opposite the beach. Clean with good facilities. Nearby supermarket. We didn’t stay for long enough to be able to comment on other nearby facilities, but there didn’t seem to be many coffee shops or restaurants nearby. The bus stop for the bus into split was just outside the apartment.

We have been staying here for many years. We love Podstrana and Johnny's is perfect. The apartments are cleaned daily - they are beautiful and modern. Breakfast is great - you can have eggs (omelette, scrambled, boiled), sausages, a range of cold meats, cheese, gorgeous different breads, spreads, jams, honey, croissants, fruit juices and coffee. The view from the balcony is stunning overlooking the sea which is just a couple of minutes across the road. Johnny and his family are wonderful people and can't do enough for you to help in making your stay a brilliant experience :-)
