Matic Apartments

Zero stars. I made a reservation for this apartment about a month ago in Split for our honeymoon. Three weeks later... the owner emails me and asks me to cancel the reservation because they have '"changes in their offer and prices for the period" I have booked and that if the new offer is okay with me that I can then re book. I replied saying that we need a place to stay because everything else that is affordable for us is now booked up as it is a busy weekend in Split due to the Ultra Music Festival. I told the owner it was unprofessional to ask me to cancel and then re book at a higher price and that they should honour the booking how it was first booked. The owner replied saying that we could not stay there at the price I had originally booked so I ended up cancelling as they told me to, because I didn't even feel comfortable staying there anymore and didn't want there to be a problem of having no place to stay when we arrive. The owner realized it was a busy weekend because of the festival ... three weeks after I had already booked. Rather than honouring the booking at the original price I booked.. they tried to make it more expensive because they didn't update it on the website calendar before. Ended up having to book a place way out of budget because nothing else was available so close to the date. Book somewhere else reliable.

Stayed one night before going to Krka from Airport. Friendly owners, booked a two twin bedroom, and ended up getting an apartment on ground level. Very clean. AC worked perfect.. Had trouble getting the internet, but it was in the apartment and didn't Inquire about it as we were out mostly. Walked to the palace(awesome) , beach, restaurants and super market, lots to do within walking distance, well worth the price and had a parking spot right in front of the room as street is very narrow.

The apartment for 6 is fully renovated, has air condition, large balcony and fridge, very comfortable beds and has its own parking space. And there's wifi in the apartement, so the signal is always full. The sea is 50m away, but the beach there has no trees. Also, there are only 2 (poorly stocked) markets and 2 restaurants in the village. But Šibenik is only 10min away, so you can shop there.
