Villa Pucisca

First time visitors to Croatia and didn't know what to expect. Our visit to this beautiful country has been enhanced by our stay in Pucisca. Our host Jerka could not have helped more from guiding us to the apartment and providing tips on the best beaches and restaurants to visit. The accommodation was comfortable and much better than we expected having stayed in lots of holiday lets over the years. Everything we needed to cook and relax had been provided. The apartment was spotlessly clean as well. The view from our loggia balcony overlooking the village and stunning blue sea is something we won't forget. Highly recommended.

My partner and I stayed in Pucišca and used it as a base for a week after a whirlwind tour of the mainland. We were looking for a peaceful stay, away from mass tourism, and were not disappointed. This is a beautiful little town with a natural harbour and a couple of beaches. There are several good restaurants to choose from. Of course the local stone is lovely, and you can buy many items from vases to jewellery in the market place. The villa is not actually in Split, rather 24 km away on Brač island. Ideally you will need to hire a car to get around, so prepare for some exciting driving! There are 4 apartments in the villa, we stayed in A1, which has great view from the kitchen, but not so much from the balcony as it is downstairs next to the car park on this one bed apartment. Still a pleasant place to stay, and the views are the best in town. Whike it is not far into town, due to the location and great view, there are quite a few steps to get there, but we'll worth it, and it will keep you fit! Mrs Jerker the house keeper is very friendly, helpful and will give you her extensive local knowledge. If you have time, visit this town, it is the most beautiful on the island.

This was by far the most relaxing location. Practically have your own private beach 5 minutes away from accommodation. Beyond fantastic staff. We had a massive apartment for a fantastic price in the peak of summer. The only place to stay in Croatia!!!
