We visited October 2025 right before Melissa. The resort itself was in need of repair & updates, getting supplies was clearly challenging but we had a great 9 day vacation. The staff truly were stellar, pools guys, bartenders, cleaning crews, and wait staff. Nightly entertainment in the lobby was always fun.
We had read all about the mosquitoes so were prepared, but aside from dew point it wasn’t bad.
Resort was kept very clean, pool crystal clear.
Feel for the team and the cats at this resort. Hope things will resolve and Canadians can start heading back and supporting Cuba again. We’ve had many great vacations in Cuba. Would recommend Melia hotels (las Americas is great).
