Wonderful, rooms with good comfort and views of the ocean, large pool, spectacular restaurants and good service

I booked 5 nights in Hotel Acuario to do the mandatory COVID quarantine. Even though it might seem cheap compared to standard prices of hotels in Havana, the Acuario quarantine package was not really the cheapest of all, however affordable. Nevertheless, I'm deeply disappointed and angry. Be sure, if I could, I would go anywhere else than staying here the remaining nights. So be advised: - at my arrival at the hotel the check in took 2h even though there were only 2 persons at the reception desk. The reception lady was simply too busy answering personal calls at the phone to check us in, who were very tired after hours of flying. - the floor of the room was flooded - bathroom pipes are not working properly, dirty water stagnates for hours - the hotel service sucks. As I'm in mandatory quarantine I depend on the in-room dinning service. Every meal is brought to me at whatever time they estimate convenient. Just as an example, my yesterday lunch was at 3pm and dinner at 7pm. and I was waiting my breakfast today since 6am, and it was served at 10.20am after I called every one possible in the hotel. I strongly do not recommend this hotel to anyone even with the lowest expectations.

Unfortunately our flight came in late evening, so we choose a hotel with 24h reception. Was the worst experience of our trip. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean - but it is not the All-Inclusive offer we expected. The food was bad and so are the drinks. The pool was in poor condition. There are many better options - not that expensive - around.
