Excellent all the amenities of the hotel and wonderful attention from the staff, who, with the greatest kindness and predisposition solve any inconvenience making us feel at home.

Wonderful hotel with very friendly staff. Location is perfect, and easy to be in central Havana.. I love the history of the hotel with modern facilities. Highly recommend. The team made my stay a great experience.

We wanted to experience old town Havana and this hotel was the start of a city break then onto a beach resort. The hotel is more suited to the younger generation or seasoned travellers, due to its location. When we started the journey towards the hotel the height of poverty hit in so many ways driving down the back streets to get to it. Once arrived we had a warm welcome and shown to our room. It was late and after flying for nearly 14 hours, plus 3 hours getting through passport control they opened the bar for a welcome drink. We got to meet some of the staff who were lovely, had a short power cut (which we were advised in advance happens a lot) but it didn’t stop their enthusiasm. Breakfast was full on with several courses but communication was a little hard as each morning (3) we had to explain I didn’t eat meat and the majority of the menu had meat, there were several returns back to the kitchen due to this but we got there in the end and the food was delicious. Everything was very clean and ‘old world tradition’ security was prevalent at the front of the building and we felt safe and looked after. From housekeeping to reception staff everyone was friendly and smiley. There was a problem with the water on our last evening which started running brown then stopped completely but on reporting to staff it was sorted by the morning. We were advised in advance to drink and brush our teeth with bottled water which there was plenty of. Outside the hotel it is very run down but didn’t affect our stay as everyone was friendly.
