Memories Jibacoa

We were here for the fourth time and had a great time as always. The range of entertainment and catering is somewhat reduced, which is understandable given the current situation on site. However, it did not affect our positive experience in any way. The entire staff was warm, friendly, and attentive as always and made many things possible that were actually not possible; thank you again for that. A couple's massage was one of the highlights of this vacation as always; the ladies in the spa have magical hands. The facility is in good condition and is continuously maintained and cared for. The beach is always clean and not overcrowded, and the sea and the wildlife that you can discover while snorkeling are fascinating. You can also spend a nice time at the pool. All in all, a great hotel where you can enjoy both peace and quiet and entertainment, depending on your preference and mood.

I stayed at this hotel in the first week of June. No attention was given for my wife's 62nd birthday and our 30th wedding anniversary. There was no variety at the buffet restaurant. The themed restaurants never opened. At one point, the beer ran out at the pool bar and they did not replenish it until the next day. The pool water was green due to lack of cleaning, and it was cleaned on the third day of our stay. There was never any ham, cheese, or ice cream at the buffet. On the day we checked out of the hotel, we went to the buffet for breakfast and there was no bread. I asked the buffet chef for a small cake for my wife's birthday, and he told me that they had not had flour available for about 2 weeks. The Canadian management had already left when I checked in at the hotel. I felt terrible. I will not return unless it is managed by a foreign company. I felt frustrated despite paying for my 6 nights in dollars.

We really had a great time, enjoyed quite a bit, and also rested. The rooms were very good and always clean, the pool was also very nice and calm, although when they had the Pool Party recreation, it was a lot of fun. The entertainer Yoandry is the best. Overall, the beach participation games were all quite entertaining (the Vedado group was very bad, and we only won once). The only thing I could point out is that we missed a bit of variety in the buffet and in terms of cocktails. In short, we had a great time, and the Vedado group of Marta, Massiel, Ariel, and Olivia will return soon. 10/10
