Villa las Brujas

My mother and I spent 4 nights at Villa Las Brujas in July 2019 and enjoyed our stay. We had a very spacious room on the first floor with a sea view which made our stay on our balcony very pleasant. We were close to the restaurant, the beach and the réception. Julian (not sure of the spelling) was very helpful and did everything he could to make our stay comfortable. The main problem was the food there as our stay was full board and the menu choice was extremely limited. If we had wanted to eat something different we would have had to pay which defeats the purpose of full board. Breakfast buffet was offered if there was more than 25 clients ☹️. Note that ETECSA WiFi cards do not work on the premises. You have to ask reception to give you the hotel WiFi code to get 1 hour free per Day. This was not give to us until the second day. During weekends, the place is very crowded by large families who come there to enjoy the beach.

It was the end Off oure roadtrip in Cuba. Nice Beach but that was the Only Nice thing! Rooms are terrible , not clean, smelling terrible, food was ok but not good! Parking was free but they stole oure lights from oure car!!! A lot of garbage everywhere like everywhere , verry Sade ! We left after 1 night , but normally we the plan was 3 nights can you imagine !!!! Do not go !!!!

This place has potential, but needs some serious and urgent TLC! Rooms are large, most with a nice view of the turquoise waters, but they seem not to have seen any maintenance since the place opened. There is a restaurant, with reasonable food and good wines, but there is nothing else around. Except for one of the restaurant staff, all other staff seem as tired as the place itself😉. The Gaviota marina is next door, which is excellent for diving and other water excursions.
