Mariela Hotel

Stayed here for 1 night for the marathon event. Staff lovely. Room comfortable but needs updating. Clean. Good parking.

Our 7th stay here, the last time being 2 years ago. We noticed some improvements and renovations since our last stay. New beds, keycard entry for the room doors, lifts renovated, new sunbeds, new tables and chairs in the bar area, new tables and chairs in the breakfast area and a new unit housing the coffee, cereal etc for breakfast. We received the usual friendly welcome from Pambos and Eleni and met up with some fellow returnees, it was almost like coming home. This time we had a one-bed apartment in block C overlooking the Car Park but with views of the sea and the mountains, nice and quiet. Room was well equipped and cleaned regularly. We enjoyed our breakfast every morning, a good selection of hot and cold options. We used the bar for drinks during the day which were good value (only €2.50 for 500ml tin of beer, €7 for a bottle of wine). It was only a short walk to a supermarket and to the old centre of Polis with a good selection of restaurants. We had a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable holiday and will definitely return.

Not much left to say really. Same level of care and attention as always. A lovely friendly couple who make you feel so welcome. So many people come back time after time so they must be doing something right. Polis is a lovely little town and very handy for trips into the mountains or along the coastline. It always feels comfortable coming back here.
