It was catastrophic. Arrived on Sunday at noon. There was no snack or fries, although the side table ate schnitzel with fries. Serves unfriendly. On the table was warm water in a pot with a lemon slice. The table was too high.Some people demanded seat cushions - there is none was the unfriendly answer. On the first day goulash with 4 pieces of meat that were greasy cartilaginous and bony - inedible! The touted salad buffet consisted of two small bowls and dessert was canned fruit. There were no cyclists, only beer etc. Breakfast lacked fresh fruit. There was twice sliced melon. Every day tomatoes from the fridge that had no taste and sliced cucumbers. Wanted to add some cocoa to my warm milk. With a nasty look on my face I got this and 2 minutes later he was gone again. So you couldn't refill. You didn't get any information in German. Shower in need of repair.

Already at check-in the outdated and discordant ambience stands out, Edv in slow motion, staff not friendly and competent. The room: well. In this price range, there is better. The entire equipment not contemporary, shower head in the bathroom with cable ties attached, foreign hair on the tiles, cleanliness isdifferent. Housekeeping is either deaf and dumb or unable to greet guests. The advertised sauna was already occupied, the swimming pool only opened briefly. Too happy. The average age of the guests is likely to be over 70 years old, and the general impression of a geriatric sanatorium prevails. Breakfast at the cat table was accompanied by the loud stories of the parking lot attendant, selection and quality of food far below average. Conclusion: There are plenty of better places to stay in the area.

Despite some poor reviews here, we booked the hotel over the weekend and were positively surprised. The hotel is clean, rooms large, beds very comfortable, breakfast very rich, there were even scrambled eggs/fried eggs. Fruit, cheese, jam, sausage. Juice and coffee from the vending machine, but still good. It was also replenished continuously. On the day of departure we were very late breakfasts, nevertheless nothing went out. The staff was very friendly and helpful both at the reception and in the breakfast room. The location of the hotel is central yet very quiet. The clientele of the hotel is probably more like 70+, many people with walkers or walking sticks, we were with an age in the 50s more like the younger generation. Wellness and spa we cannot judge. We wanted to book these (2 months in advance), but could not be promised to us and 1 week before arrival also cancelled. The indoor pool is small but sufficient for cooling down. The parking with 8€/day not necessarily cheap, but blocked off for it.
