Esplanade Prague Hotel

The Esplanade Hotel in Prague is a historic treasure from the Belle Epoque era that has old world charm, large and comfortable rooms, and a very good breakfast. It is located very close to the central train station and close to the National Museum. The subway is also close and it offers good connections to the major historic sites in the city. The hotel staff were very pleasant and responsive to our requests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and we would unhesitatingly stay there again.

This is not a five star hotel!!! Yes, it looks very nice & has a beautiful lounge area. But the ‘French’ restaurant was closed, as was the bar. Breakfast was poor - by Irish /,English standard The A/C in the room didn’t work. The matteress was way too soft. The bedroom & bathroom were fine but looking a little ‘tired’. The location is very good. Minutes from main station & 20 minutes walk to old town / bridge to the castle The staff were polite.

Spent a wonderfull week at the Esplanade Hotel Prague. The Hotel itself is historical and beautifully maintained. The rooms are a nice comfortable size with nice clean bath rooms. The front desk staff are very helpfull with anything you need and full of local information. The breakfast at Esplanade was allways fresh an delicious and the servers there are some of the nicest people you could ever meet. We enjoyed our stay and would recomend this hotel to any traveler.
