City Partner Hotel Victoria

The hotel closes at 19:00 and as we arrived after that time we found the hoel closed. Who helped us was a guest and inside the hotel we had to call a no informed at the reception desk. The person on the other side took a while to locate the reservation. The room was for smokers, a horror. We asked to exchange, but we only got the exchange the next morning. The hotel did not provide support regarding transportation and locomotion in the city and the staff did not speak English. Old hotel, needs maintenance. Very good breakfast.

I stayed here with friends for four nights. Checking in worked without any problems and the Service could even speak German. Also a demand for public transport was answered well. The rooms are as advertised and therefore optimal. We had a 4-bed room (1x large double bed, 1x single bed, 1x fold-out sofa bed). The sofa was of course rather borderline for a good night's sleep, but despite being located directly on a busy road it was still quiet in the 4th. Stock. Breakfast was great and met expectations. Since there is no room card or key, no elaborate check-out was necessary. Very straightforward! I would definitely come back!

The taxi arranged by the hotel put me on meter instead of the posted fixed rate in their lobby back to the airport. As a gesture the hotel refunded me the overcharge. It was a nice gesture. Thank you Martin! Other pluses- good bed & large quiet room. minuses - reception closes at 7 pm so if housekeeping forgot anything (replacement towels, teabags, emptying trash cans) be sure to check before then or wait til morning. I didn’t have breakfast but took a quick look and it looked okay ( few if any hot meal choices). But overall in Prague good value for the money and airco included i. the basic room (also important).
