Mars Hotel Prague

The hotel was creepy and old fashioned. Extremely outdated and not in a good area at all. Dead fly on the bed and was left as 3 single beds even though they knew we were coming as a couple. We booked Prague through the wowcher voucher and ended up with this. We were not disappointed for too long as we quickly upgraded into a lovely, clean & modern hotel right near old town square (perfect location)

Ups: -Location close to transport -Cleanliness -decent breakfast for the price downs: - mattresses not comfortable - they join two twins to make a double bed which has a 6 inch gap on between - If you are on a healthier side, getting in and bathing in the cubicle is a task. - No tea kettle in the room.

The hotel was a great find for our budget, with a location slightly outside the centre but with fantastic transport links. The hotel staff were incredibly efficient and accommodating both with correspondence before our visit and during our stay. The room was basic, but good value for money. My only complaint would be that there were bugs living in our curtains, however since it was cold weather I completely understand that it is difficult to sometimes keep the crawlies out.
