Had my trip cancelled due to the pandemic, so I got in touch with them requesting a refund.
Nearly two weeks and a couple of emails later I have received no response. I’ve been polite and courteous and I would expect the same in return especially under the circumstances.
I will be going to Prague in the future but will definitely not be booking accommodation with this hotel again. Avoid at all costs.

I booked a room via booking.com, everything went fine, payment succeeded with my Amex card. After a couple of minutes I got a message that I needed to update my card, did it several times and eventually found out they don’t accept Amex. It says clearly on the website they do.
We went there, the guy at the service desk was not helpful at all, so I told I will pay directly. He told me they don’t accept cards and all he wanted was cash, local currency or euros. I didn’t had and after a useless discussion I suddenly could pay by card.
Then today I thought let’s give them another chance. I booked via Booking.com, card got accepted but again got some messages from the hotel. See the pictures how they treat people. Luckily I could cancel without costs with the help of booking... I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, also rooms are old, doors do not close well, I storage for luggage, no options about early or later check in, if you want a drink it is only possible to pay in cash, etc...

We arrived for a two night visit a few days ago. The man at the reception was pretty rude but I can get over that. We had a room on the 4th floor which meant a lift to the 3rd and walking up a flight of stairs (again, not a problem). The room was spacious enough and the bathroom nice but the main issue was the bed. We had paid for a double and they gave us the illusion of a double but was in fact two single beds pushed together. Not exactly ideal when you’re away celebrating an anniversary. Our TV didn’t work and when we mentioned it to reception (very rude man, again) we were told an engineer would be in to see it- no one ever appeared. The hotel is on a very busy road so taxis etc found it really hard to stop nearby.
For the money I think there are better budget hotels in Prague.
