This is a true asylum for souls exhausted by the fast pace of life, the hustle and bustle of the big city, and the modernity of the times. You will stop and return to a time when everything was real and honest...when objects were useful and beautiful at the same time. A cozy and clean little hotel in the style of a wooden house with beautiful decorations, pleasant and caring staff and a perfect more-than-rich breakfast. You can spend the winter evenings by the fireplace in the hotel café and meet the owners family in person and in the summer time relax and dine in the atrium with a sort of gallery with stylish rural decorations. There is nothing to criticize ... even enjoying being"disconnected" from today's reality, you can access to high-speed internet, if necessary. Unique and romantic rooms with everything you need, air conditioning, too. The whole hotel is furnished stylishly with great feeling and taste. We also very much appreciate cleanliness. If we'll go to Prague again, we'll come here - to the "Nový svět" (New World) - that's the name of the historical district near the Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral or Loretta, where this tiny little hotel is located. We strongly recommend from heart, Andrea & Irinka❤️

We stayed over a week at this lovely, small hotel and we had a perfect stay. We stayed in the largest room, which includes a sitting area, sunroom, walk in closet, desk area, and working wood fireplace. The bathroom is small but adequate; it has a stall shower. The ground floor room is next to reception and there is a room on the 2nd floor, but it was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was excellent—you could get eggs cooked to order in addition to multiple items laid out in a small but ample buffet. There is a cafe associated with the hotel and we got a plate of cheese, cured meats, and bread for a “picnic” in our room. They also have wine. The staff is very helpful! The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to a tram station that gets you into town but the walk is pleasant. There are two delicious restaurants about a 5 minute walk away (Liandra and Vinobono) and then other options ~20 minute walk. This hotel is not in the center of town but we prefer that and it is still easy to get where you need to go. (Trams are easy to use, especially if you download the PID app and get a 72-hour ticket.) My only suggestion for improvement would be to include robes but that is a small thing for an otherwise perfect hotel. (We also took advantage of the car service they arranged to and from the airport, and it was very easy and convenient.)

Amazing one of a kind experience! This place is for those who like small, local boutique hotels. The hotel has only six rooms in a renovated historic building, they include a lovely breakfast with homemade yogurts, eggs to order, meats, cheeses, breads, pastries and more. It is super clean and decorated with local country antiques by someone with a great eye-- each room is totally unique. It is in the castle district in a quiet corner of Prague 1, and staying here totally made the trip for us. Old town is insanely busy even early in the season, so much so that I just wanted to get out of there. The castle district is a bit hilly, but from the hotel you can easily walk to many of the most important sites: lesser town, the castle, Petrin hill, Strahov library, St. Nicholas Church. With three days, we spend only one in old town, and two in lesser town/the castle district so this location made sense for us. The tram stop is five minutes uphill but for a short trip ubers made much more sense to us-- we mostly walked and the couple of times we were going a distance we took very inexpensive ubers (come in 2 minutes, $6-7 gets you anywhere in Prague 1). The area isn't great for anyone with mobility issues, though as long as you can walk a bit it's fine. We basically walked all day, then went back to the hotel for a late lunch and got smoothies and a delicious meat and cheese platter or ham and cheese pie and sat on their lovely sunken terrace. Walking to dinner from there was a highlight of the trip, quiet historic streets you practically have to yourself with one stunning building after another-- plenty of restaurants within a 1-15 minute walk. Book directly on their website and check out their packages. We got the anniversary package that you needed to pay in cash with euros while you were there but you got$50 off a night, flowers, a big bowl of fruit, a large meat and cheese platter, a split of sparkling wine, a bottle of local wine, and a free ride to or from the airport. Magda who works there is the best! She would often make us something special for breakfast and lunch-- basically take any of her recommendations! Get room 6 if you can with a living room, fireplace, indoor terrace, private table on the outdoor terrace.
