Penzion Svet

Stayed 2 nights in this pension, we were group of 12 so had 3 rooms and couldn’t fault one. Nice and clean with beautiful view of Cesky krumlov, it’s only about 5 mins walk to town. We had a lovely breakfast and the host was very friendly and welcoming. Sorry can’t remember her name, lovely lady. We didn’t spend much time in rooms and there r so much things to do in Cesky krumlov, pension had a garden with lovely sitting area and trampoline for kids. All rooms r little bit up to the steep stairs but nothing that really bothered us even with 2 small kids. Definitely will stay again when in Cesky krumlov. Also it was very affordable compare to lots of other places. We had 2 cars and pension has got a garage for one and other was parked on street.

Penzion Svet is a 300 hundred years old beautifully maintained quiet and clean house located less than 10 minutes walk for the historic heart of Cesky Krumlov. Our room on the upper floor was super clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was also great and quite big. The view from our window towards Cesky Krumlov was fantastic. The breakfast was simple, but nice and fresh. The property provides free parking for your car. The hostess Renata was very polite and friendly. She gave us a map and answered all our questions. The price is fair and affordable. Please note they only take cash.

This is my third stay at Penzion Svet, the first in summer. It is always a pleasure. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast delicious and the host charming. Because the penzion is on a rise above the town, the view over the river, the town, church and castle are what fairy tale dreams are made of.
