My friend, husband and I stayed in the three bedroom dorm. It is a very basic set up but Cesky Krumlov is such an amazing place you do not spend it in doors. The place is very clean and has a nice outside area to relax and grass area. The owner, Jan (if I remember correctly) is super friendly and really helpful. One downside is that the road is very busy so the room we had, had a lot of noise from cars early in the morning and we had to keep windows open as it was very hot. Noise should be decreased in winter times I suppose. It is about a 10 - 15 min walk to the center, really not that bad, you get a nice feel for the area but I would recommend that if you struggle to walk to get something closer as there is a little of a hill and a section has a lot of stairs.

I was really surprised with this place. It is quite far from town centre, but walkable. We stayed one night and everything was absolutely perfect. Owner emailed us entranced code of the door, left keyes in the room. Breakfast was super good. Owner was nice, helpful, we had no problems here. Room was clean and nice and newly furnished. I totally recommend this place.

The Pension's host was helpful but the place doesn't have someone there except for a few hours in the PM. It is clean and bright, but very basic. No soap provided in shower nor soap holder. Walls are thin. You can literally hear everything. The walk to the Old Town is only about 15 minutes but there are stairs to navigate. Plus point is that shuttle companies like PK Shuttle can reach it easily as it's on a main road.
