FIRST GRAND

We had a really nice stay at the hotel. Everything was lovely and the staff were incredibly nice, friendly and welcoming. You really felt welcome from start to finish. An extra big thanks for the fantastic service as they were so nice to order smoked cheese home for breakfast to us. It is really the kind of extra attention that makes a stay very special. ❤️ We highly recommend the hotel and will be happy to come back!

Well-located hotel, cozy, beautiful spaces on each floor facing a beautiful staircase that reflects the "grand hotel" spirit, very helpful staff, spacious (superior) room, high-quality breakfasts

This Grand Hotel may have been grand, but now it is mostly history. The location and size fit the name but the rest has yet to be fulfilled to meet contemporary standards. The dinner we were allowed to enjoy with our large group (50!) was well catered for, chapeau! But the technical side of the hotel seemed to me suitable for a horror movie. The temperature in my room was close to 40°, the tap water was lukewarm, both the 'hot' and 'cold' tap, I wouldn't drink it or use it for the shower, a tap opens clockwise, the elevator operation requires routine, you get somewhere you don't want to be, everything is outdated but clean. Faded glory, I think. I hope someone sees enough perspective to pay for a renovation, they deserve it.
