At best an average experience. The hotel itself was not a fault, but I think - and it sounds hard - that this is the worst hotel breakfast I have had in years. There were a lot of people, so you expect a certain change in the food and that it is pretty much fresh. It wasn't. The bread was dry and the hot dishes were definitely cold. I don't know what went wrong in the kitchen that day, but it was a ***** sad and sad experience.

Completely fantastic experience - we had bought a package with tickets to Heartland, hotel and breakfast including shuttle buses for the festival. There was a possibility to buy night food all the days when you came home hungry from Heartland. We got the most lovely reception by super cute and service-minded staff - there was a (or more) glass bubbles and high mood. All staff were smiling and positive and helpful. The breakfast was also quite in the top - everything the heart can desire of delicious food and drink. We can highly recommend the hotel.

Hotel Svendborg is a lovely hotel, located right in the butterhole of the city. The location could hardly be better – right by the pedestrian street with cafes and restaurants just outside the door and only about 10 minutes walk to the harbour. The breakfast is delicious and versatile with fine organic details that make the experience a little extra. The rooms are large and bright with nice bathrooms, and there are both a minibar, a hairdryer and easy option to borrow iron and board. The beds are really good and provide a pleasant night's sleep. The hotel is nice and well-maintained, and classic in the design. It is clean and functional with elevator to all floors, which is a big plus if you are not fresh on the stairs. The staff is service-minded and contributes to a pleasant atmosphere. Overall a really good experience – a hotel that combines central location, good service and comfortable settings in a simple and welcoming way.
