Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar Don Pablo All Incl.

Just returned from Bahia Principe Ambar with my wife, wow what a great holiday, a la carte restaurants every night, have to mention Limbo (lives up to the reviews), Yurta (we went back a second time, so good), and Olivo (pleasant surprise - gourmet food). All the staff very attentive and like to interact if you know even a little spanish. Ingrit and team in the coffee shop: True Baristas, didnt want coffee anywhere else after tasting their art! Usually bumped into Francis in there who taught me a local spanish word "Vaina" - english people call it "Thingymajig" haha. The pool bar is great as is the beach bar. It was seaweed season but it doesn't spoil things too much, 15-20ft out and it is minimal and the hard working tractor drivers are busy sun up to sun down. We opted for a standard room, the pool is so close and all the restaurants we didnt see the point in a swim up room, but they did look good. We will definitely be returning as a larger family unit at some point. There are still more cocktails that i didnt get to try! Must also mention the chicken wings at the sports bar - again lives up to the reviews, they are great and it is decent AC in there. This review wouldn't be complete without mentioning the Spa - i generally never visit these but I was aching a lot probably from all the in/out of pool all day! getting old now! I signed up to a couple of massages with the lovely Rosanny, a true professional, on the second visit she used hot stones and the aching dissolved almost immediately - she zoned in on the exact source of the pain. and seemed to have a sixth sense on how much pressure to apply to different muscle groups, I will definitely pay her another visit when I return. Hope this is useful to people thinking of going here. Thanks to all the staff for being so Friendly and helpful.

Beautiful hotel. They welcomed us respectfully, always trying to guide us so that we would have the best of experiences. The pools are impeccable and spacious. They maintained order and cleanliness the entire time. Variety of food and drinks, however there are no healthier options like smoothies or real fruit juices; everything had sugar and food coloring, and they also do not offer fruit beyond lunch and dinner (thinking mostly of the children). The kids club is very nice, as are the evening activities for the whole family. The beach is nice. It is a shame about the sargassum.

After reading so many negative comments, it makes me laugh quite a bit. I stayed in May and in July 2026 and my experience was a 12. From the front desk (highlighting Orlando), the coffee shop (highlighting Evelin) and all the other girls, the buffet with the wonderful ÑOÑO, who is a sweetheart and brightens your day with his kindness, the cleaning lady (I don't remember her name but she was in block 67), Edwin (concierge, a 10 of a guy), the pool waiters (highlighting Canario, Joel, Johandri, etc...) and the entertainment guys, WONDERFUL, Jaime, Wilson, Gabriel, Melazza, a 10 out of 10 team. Emmanuel, a bartender at Limbo restaurant, ending the night with his wonderful cocktails and his conversation was a perfect finishing touch to a wonderful day. But without a doubt, my highest praise goes to Wifi (Ambar restaurant coordinator); thanks to him, our stays there have been wonderful, always looking out for us, helping us with everything we needed, thanks to him we felt better than in our own home, we will return without a doubt knowing that Wifi will be at Ambar. My only "complaint" is that I would prefer more monitoring of access for families (by the waves area) since we chose this hotel because it is adults-only.
