Hotel Galeria Man Ging

It is a gallery hotel in the center of Guayaquil, the rooms are spacious enough but are not soundproofed from the outside so at night or in the morning at dawn you may be woken by traffic. Impractical bathroom, bathtub with curtain. The breakfast is quite monotonous, deserves a bit of variety and improvement in management. Staff: very kind and professional always ready to help customers, very satisfied. Price: very affordable

The privileged location of our hotel, the GH Galeria Hotel Guayaquil, located less than 2 km from the center of Guayaquil, allows us to make the most of the little time we have to take a walk in the city center that alternates modern buildings with buildings of the Republican era with important architecture, squares with imposing trees, fountains and gardens to wide and busy avenues. The room has soundproofed windows with excellent reception of free Wi-Fi. There are several works of art, some Japanese, in the reception and common areas. We have dinner at the Hotel where we appreciate, as usual, an excellent traditional Ecuadorian cuisine based on fish, this time.

As the Name suggests: If you are in Love with Art/Museums…. This property is up your ally as the owners have filled the lobby, hallways and rooms with sculptures and paintings. The building itself is well maintained and clean. Same goes for the hallways and rooms themselves. Very satisfied with condition of furniture, water pressure, cleanliness. We arrived by car, and a Big plus is that they have a private parking lot That is accessible from inside the lobby area= so you don’t need to walk out to street and back into the lot to get something from your car. Something of note: Breakfast is not buffet style. You sit and are brought two plates: one with fruit, the other with eggs, bread empanada etc. and a coffee + juice. So if you are not picky, this is fine. But if you prefer to decide for yourself, What you will eat and How much = then carefully think about this detail before booking. In conclusion: We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return. I am particular about breakfast and because of that: I will need to decide Weather or not to go eat elsewhere on my return.
