Fairmont Towers Heliopolis

I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria near the airport for one night after a long day of traveling, and it was a very disappointing experience. The room smelled bad, there was dust on the bed, the walls were dirty, and basic items like the toothbrush and hairbrush were broken. For a Waldorf Astoria, this was far below what I expected. The hotel also does not provide an airport shuttle, even though the airport is only 7–10 minutes away. The biggest disappointment was the service. I called several times asking for someone to help with my luggage, but no one ever came. I ended up dragging three large suitcases all the way to the reception entrance by myself and had to call an Uber to get to the airport. To make matters worse, I picked up a pizza from Pizza Hut and brought it back to the hotel. When I returned, the security guard stopped me, asked me to sign documents, and made me feel like I didn’t belong at the hotel. I’ve stayed at many luxury hotels around the world, and I’ve never experienced anything like this. It felt more like I was entering a school or being pressured to use the hotel’s restaurants instead of bringing in my own food. It was an uncomfortable and unnecessary experience. Overall, this was not the level of service, hospitality, or quality I expect from a luxury hotel, and I would not stay here again.

We had an amazing anniversary stay at the Waldorf Astoria Cairo Heliopolis, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel incredibly special. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, along with a beautiful romantic anniversary setup that included a delicious cake and elegant flowers. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our celebration even more memorable. Throughout our stay, every member of the staff was professional, friendly, and genuinely committed to providing exceptional hospitality. Their attention to detail and willingness to help made us feel welcomed and valued. The spa experience was outstanding, offering a high level of privacy, comfort, and professionalism. It was one of the best spa experiences we’ve had and was perfect for a relaxing anniversary getaway. We also had dinner at Aida Restaurant, and it was simply outstanding. The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. A very special thanks goes to Mr. Mahmoud Abd El Aziz for arranging the beautiful anniversary room setup and for making our celebration truly unforgettable. His dedication and attention to detail made all the difference. We highly recommend Waldorf Astoria Cairo Heliopolis to anyone looking for luxury, outstanding service, and unforgettable hospitality. We will definitely be back.
