We had an amazing time at this hotel the food and service was top notch h. I want to give a special thanks to Ahmed abdelmaged as his service was incredible along with his people skills and friendliness. I have not had better service than him in my whole time in Egypt. He brought a great atmosphere, amazing service and an amazing personality to the scene which means a lot coming from someone with years of hospitality experience. Great job my man, thanks heaps.

Our stay at the hotel was genuinely pleasant. The property was clean, comfortable, and felt like a true retreat after each day. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Their hospitality was one of the highlights of our visit. Unfortunately, our experience outside the hotel was very different. We traveled during the slow season, yet from the moment we stepped outside the property we were constantly approached and pressured by locals. After a while, the hotel became our safe haven—and honestly, the only place where we truly felt at ease. That said, we also met some wonderful people along the way and had the opportunity to experience the incredible history, culture, and warmth that Cairo and Egypt have to offer. Those moments made the trip worthwhile. One piece of advice for future travelers: be cautious when using Uber in this area. We experienced taxi drivers canceling rides only to offer transportation at inflated prices. While it's understandable that tourism is a vital part of the local economy, there's a significant difference between earning a fair living and taking advantage of visitors. Tourist pricing is something many travelers expect to some degree, but persistent overcharging and aggressive solicitation ultimately discourage the very people the local economy depends on. Four Seasons is being built down the road, hope they aren’t curbside to the road or the visitors will not be pleased with being swarmed with locals right after breakfast. Overall, we enjoyed seeing this part of Egypt, but because of our experience outside the hotel, we don't see ourselves returning to this particular area. We'd certainly consider visiting a different region of Egypt in the future, as the country itself has so much beauty, history, and culture to offer.

We were treated with the utmost care; simply smiling and thanking them for their thoughtfulness was enough for the team – particularly Ahmed, who looked after us so well from our sunset boat trip to our personalised romantic dinner – to treat us to a dream experience, without us even having to ask. An idyllic dinner on the banks of the Nile. As French staff, they delighted in getting us to dance to the sounds of Dalida. We’ve never experienced service of such high quality, and I’d recommend them to anyone without a moment’s hesitation. Thank you to them!
