El Arosa Boutique Hotel

1 Travel Republic did not at any time mention that I would need a VISA for Egypt and that you have to pay to enter the country. 2 I asked Tr Rep clearly whether the hotel had broadband, no answer. 3 I arrived and the quietest room was next to a building site. I requested not to be by a building site. 4 No towels in room. 5 Key stuck in door a few times. 6 Fridge in room had to be changed. 7 TV in room wasn't working. 8 No choice in food. 9 Seats on patio absolutely covered with dust and muck. 10 Tap unit very loose. 11 Towel unit in bathroom fell apart. 12 I had to ask for toilet paper and a bag for rubbish 3 times. 13 The Travel Republic Customer Service Request website said “Oops not working” before I left for Hurghada, whilst I was there, and after I returned. 14 The fan in the room wasn’t working 15 I heard the manager just after I spoke to him shouting at staff on two occasions. 16 To get to the dining room I had to walk past 2 horrible mops and buckets. 17 Travel Republic state on their web-site that in the best interests of customer service that customers cannot e-mail them. I would imagine that 90% of customers have e-mail nowadays so that’s the opposite of the best customer service. 18 At the airport, the first man who had my name WAS NOTHING to do with my trip. My complaint is that Travel Republic transfers allowed this man to get my name which is unheard of. 19 The water in the hotel stopped working twice. 20 The middle Tuesday morning there was an insect in my breakfast salad.

Clean and tidy room although very small, basically had to crawl over our bags to get around the room. Nice little balcony that looked out over to the ocean. Staff were friendly, breakfast included was basic but did the job. Not much close by for food options except for Geisum cafe across the street so we wandered in towards the city centre to find cheap local food. We didn't go to the beach so not sure if they have any arrangements in place with Geisum for El Arosa guests to use their beach area.

Clean cheap hotell near to sea shopping and nightlife. Exellent service for everything.Trips outside Hurghada like Luxor, Aswan and Kairo. Daytrips like snorkling, safari, supersafari. Staff very helpfull and nice
