⭐☆☆☆☆ More like a tired 3-star hotel than a 4-star resort I stayed at Lido Sharm Hotel in February 2026 and unfortunately I left very disappointed. The biggest issue was not the food – it was the condition of the hotel itself. Almost everything feels old, worn out and in need of replacement or major refurbishment. The rooms, furniture, fittings and many of the facilities look as though they have been used for years without proper investment. Some items were so old and damaged that they looked completely out of place in a hotel claiming to be 4-star standard. The hotel feels stuck in the past. Instead of feeling like a relaxing holiday resort, it often felt like staying in a property that has been running on minimal maintenance for a very long time. The food was not terrible, but it was nothing special either. The choice was limited, the menus were repetitive and after several days it became very predictable. For a short stay it might be acceptable, but for a longer holiday it quickly becomes boring. The location in Naama Bay is probably the hotel's strongest point. It is convenient and offers great views. The staff were generally polite and helpful, and I have no complaints about them personally. However, a good location and friendly staff cannot make up for a hotel that is so outdated. In my opinion, calling this a 4-star hotel is very generous. Personally, I would rate it as a tired 3-star hotel at best. There are many hotels in Sharm El Sheikh offering much better value for money. Unless the hotel undergoes a major renovation, I would not return and would not recommend it to friends or family. My rating: 1/5 Pros: Excellent location in Naama Bay Friendly staff Nice sea views Cons: Extremely outdated hotel Old and worn furniture and equipment Poor overall condition and maintenance Repetitive, average food Not worthy of a 4-star rating My honest rating: 3 stars would be generous, 4 stars is difficult to justify.

When the soul asks for a reset, I fly to Lido. The best place for relaxation, physical and mental recovery. A small, sweet, homely, cozy hotel on the seafront. With a delightful dawn and romantic atmosphere. It's different every time. A few touches, and you're already noticing: it's even better. Of course, it's a credit to the staff led by the general manager. Excellent chefs are constantly improving the menu. The dishes are varied, never had time to taste everything with a friend in 12 days. Couple kilos of weight as a bonus. This is despite an active lifestyle, early dawn climbs and kilometre wave swims. I want to mention the very hospitable staff at the reception - I want to go back to them. Real grilled professionals - so gorgeous cooking chicken, duck, fish, beef and other delicacies! And Belgian chocolate and jam waffles in the morning - I miss them frankly at home.... I really want to go back to the wonderful bartenders Mustafa and Ali - cool, fun, welcoming guys. Animators, of course, also try to stir the people, but not all succumb to ))))) Or maybe the strength after rich breakfasts, lunches and dinners guests lack ?)))) But if you want to have fun - here are all the conditions. The beach is nice, the water is warm in the rooms comfortable. Bottom line: great holiday, desire to return here not once. All thanks to Lido's friendly team. Way to go, well done!
