Oonas Dive Club

Excellent. Especially Mohanned for all his help and who went out of his way to mke sure all was well with me and my holiday plans.

This was our 5th visit to Oonas in 13 months and it's about time we left a review. Most if not all of the guests are repeat visitors. The fact that we keep going back speaks for itself, but to spell it out, the dive holiday was again perfect, with superb instructors/guides and a well equipped and expertly run boat, with a regular crew who do everything to make the holiday a safe and enjoyable one. The dive centre staff help to make everything run smoothly. The accommodation is always clean, if a little dated, and the restaurant serves excellent food. We wouldn't go anywhere else in Sharm.

I stayed at the Oonas with my family and friends and we really enjoyed it. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to meet the needs of guests with a smile. The location is really ideal: the property is located at the end of Naama Bay, in the quietest area, about 15 meters from a comfortable beach, shared with the nearby Swiss Hotel. But the real treasure is the coral reef on the left side of the beach (towards the Movenpick) — probably the only one left intact in Naama Bay. A paradise for snorkelers and the Red Sea sea! The bed & breakfast formula is a great advantage: it allows you to explore the many authentic restaurants in Sharm, where you eat well, spend little and breathe the truest atmosphere of the city. I absolutely recommend it to those who are not looking for the classic "all inclusive" resort, but prefer a more free and "do it yourself" holiday, surrounded by nature and the sea. The rooms are spacious and with a balcony overlooking the sea; they probably deserve a little restyling, but overall they are comfortable. In my case, I was assigned a suite instead of the triple booked, without any surcharge, a much appreciated gesture. The restaurant next to the hotel is also convenient, ideal for a quick lunch or casual dinner. Lastly, the excellent diving school attached to the structure (which we did not use, but seems well organized and renowned) is worth mentioning. In summary: a perfect choice for those who love the sea, freedom and authenticity of Sharm el Sheikh.
