Paid for a deluxe swim-up room, was given block 9, room 9121. Interior of the room very clean thanks to the efforts of our cleaner, Mohamed. As for the exterior, the swim-up walls are sun-damaged and cracked, tiles in the pool cracked and bunched up with filler rails broken (more on this later). Guests frequently cut through past your beds because they can’t be bothered to take the extra few steps to their room. Other blocks next to ours had bushes all the way from the pool edge to the room wall, preventing this happening. The pool waiters are very good at bringing drinks to you, and towels are serviced regularly for fresh ones. There is a bus that runs the boundary of the property every few minutes; without it, you would struggle to get around the hotel as reception bars and most of the à la carte are at the top of some killer stairs. Staff are brilliant: Hany in the Mongolian restaurant, which was our favourite. Shady in the Gamila restaurant, where we had breakfast/dinner most days because the main buffet is a zoo! Kids are being allowed to run round, skate on the heelies, food dropped everywhere; it’s a nightmare. Adults-only section very nice, serviced by Mina, the bar man, as everywhere in Egypt, beaches are small with shallow water. On our 11th day, management decided without warning to drain our swim-up to replace missing rails. After complaining to the hotel management, we were given a complimentary late check-out and an apology via email. The hotel staff are worth 5 stars as they can’t do enough; I don’t think the hotel is a 5-star; it needs a lot of renovation.

Stayed at this hotel June 26. Paid for deluxe swim up room, was clean tidy. Our cleaner Ahmed was brilliant. Not deluxe though. People constantly passing by our loungers short cut to their rooms. Not easy to get about all restaurants up steep hill or steps, apart from beach front one. Not wheelchair friendly. All speciality restaurants good staff brilliant. Buffet restaurant was chaotic kids running all over. All toilets outside restaurants, some closed nights on end. Lack of toilet roll and hand towels, reported to reception. Entertainment really poor no kids allowed in sport bar, yet in main outdoor entertainment kids allowed whilst adults openly smoked shish pipes, which absolutely stunk. Supposed to be English style pub, laughable. Nobody ever in it playing loud music??. Thanks to great service from. Zayed bar, Mustafa. And Hany in Mongolian restaurant. Supposed to have beach, couldn't find it.

Stayed here 5th June for 12 nights , this is a honest review weve been Egypt 34 times so know that you need to know what your getting . Check in was very easy for us as we had a taxi from airport so beat the coach transfer ,it was late when we arrived so just had a nice cold beer before being shown to our room . The room was very nice ,part sea and pool view . Greeted with lovely towel art and bunch of flowers . The room was kept clean by our excellent housekeeper, don't know his name as we only saw him briefly when he was busy in another room we were in 12207 ,(management will know) just to give him a well done ,the room does need an upgrade but think theyre in the process of doing this . There was a little bus stop outside the block so was handy for beach . The main restaurant food was very good lots of choice, every staff member does a fabulous job from the gentlemen on meet and greet with the blue shirt ,who always have a welcome and have someone ready to take you to a table if needed .always coming round asking if everything is OK. Our waiters were also fabulous (Mohamed ) who was also in the Mongolian restaurant and Abdel Rahman who also worked in Italian restaurant worked their socks off to make sure you had everything you need . The chefs were also there to help if you needed and also came round with special dishes that they had made ,starters or desserts for you to try . Everyone of the staff do an excellent job . The main restaurant got very busy at lunch but there is another restaurant near beach you can use which is a bit quieter but not as many options . We used the Italian and Mongolian Al le carte mostly and they were very good . The food freshly prepared was always good and hot , and the staff were excellent in both restaurants, the Sushi in Mongolian was the best ive had .we did try the Egyptian it was good but not really what we like ,so only went theyre once ,Its great that you can book as many time as you like for the Al le carte . They have a sports bar that is adult only ,was great to watch the world cup ,the service in here was also spot on Mustafa was a credit to the Hotel always keeping us served with cold drinks and a friendly 😀 The lobby bar was great for cocktails and also had excellent waiters Ibrahim looked after us with our Gin and tonics or cold beer and also credit to the Hotel, they work long hours but still have a smile for you when you go in ,didn't get the name of the other bar man but he was also excellent. We used the adult pool everyday and got to say the lifeguard Mahmoud was brilliant 👏 fresh large towels and parasol everyday ,towel art on your table ,kept the pool area and gardens spotless never stopped working ,even had time to come round everyday to clean your sun glasses or reading glasses if you had them with you nothing too much much trouble . Big shout out for Michael who runs the pool bar , providing cold water first thing then iced coffee (toffee coffee) our favourite 😍 every morning ,then cool beers ,cocktails etc rest of day . Lovely gentleman ,excellent at his job works very hard . The large pool is very good for family's and also kept very clean in all areas . Didn't go to the waterpark but did have a look and looked great for family's . The little beach was clean and well maintained ,the snorkeling not has good has I have seen not sure if its down to the coral shrinkage but still worth a look and the pier is very sturdy if need disability access . The Hotel is very good for disabled or wheelchair users as it has a bus and buggies to ferry you round if needed . The only disappointment for us and the reason it didn't get 5 stars .. The entertainment in the Lattitude Bar , is very poor not very well organised. There was 1 guy singing maybe 5 times and a lady singer just the once out of our 12days . They sang in different nationalitys which is fine as its not all English resort and they were not bad singers ,BUT they didn't start till 10pm there was nothing on before this apart from an odd occasion when the italian entertainment team put music on which then was sooo loud and sounded like garage music. and when there was no singer on this is all they played . If you liked dancers then you could go to theater and watch them at 9 after kiddies disco .but that is all there was ..when your a couple on your own you need something going on and 10pm is far too late . We suggested maybe some nice music like they have at breakfast and lunch ,they have entertainment everyday while you eat , violin , guitar, sax ..this could be used at maybe 9pm to entertain you after dinner before singer . I thought their talents were wasted at meal times when not many outside on restaurant terrace to hear it because of hot weather .and we did mention this to Mr Mustafa the manager at cocktail reception or even nice recorded music instead of head banging music. There was also a very rude young lady from the Italian team ,we did report . We didn't know the Italians had their own entertainment people who were always round the There was also no notices around reception or adult pool to let you know what was happening and what times for entertainment at night so you didn't know what was on or who was singing if anything ? We were also told about going to another hotel by the entertainment team ,it goes to white hills resort and supposed to be all inclusive drinks ,you go at 8.30 but when we got there you could only get soft drinks as the bar wasn't opent till Ten till the show starts and then it finishes at 10.50. Coaches then go back at 11pm think you should be informed of this as there was a lot off people going mad and causing problems ,also very hard to find a seat . 1 lady from the entertainment team was very rude ,we did complaine about her attitude to reception and that's when we found out that the Italians had their own entertainment team . Was very busy with Italians ,could have been school hols Overall very good hotel and would return if entertainment was better .
