Tokoriki Island Resort

Beautiful Adults only which was spectacular, 5 star PLUs and in fact Gold Star resort. I had 5 nights with my son and daughter in-law, we had 2 villas. The inclusive package made it easy for mealtimes and the food was outstanding and so fresh and nothing was too trouble if you wanted to make some changes and Bubbles for breakfast everyday set the tone for luxury for the day. The staff are all outstanding with their smiles and knowing you name and greeting you with it every time you see them. I had a massage every day, call it indulgence but this is what you can do and the massages are amazing. Arriving and leaving by helicopter topped the holiday off. I had a birthday while at the resort. The resort staff sang to me and bought me to tears with their performance. It was a personal message in the song and a chocolate cake. This place is so quiet and so good for the sole, no TV in rooms. Loved showering every day in the outdoor shower. I had fresh coconuts delivered by the staff. The Beautiful grounds boys got straight from the tree outside the Villa. Nothing better than fresh coconut water. My family took 2 fishing charters and caught some local fish. The teriyaki night was outstanding and the food amazing, I had the Lobster for mains, and it was outstanding. Outstanding resort.

We came as guests and left as friends! If you are dreaming of a south pacific idyllic paradise, then look no more. Tokoriki Island Resort has all you could ever have wished for. Nestled along a stretch of golden corral sand, you will be welcomed to the resort by the superb team at Tokoriki. We were ferried from the large catamaran onto a smaller shuttle craft and whisked to the jetty at Tokoriki. On arrival we were given all the information we needed to make this a special holiday. We have witnessed Fijian hospitality on other Fiji island resorts but the Tokoriki team leave them in the dust. From arrival, our names have been memorised by all staff and we greeted daily by name. A lovely personal touch. Nothing is too hard for the team to meet our every wish. We really just wanted a warm relaxing stay and this is what we received in abundance. We could have made use of all the resort activities, snorkelling / diving trips etc but sitting on our deck gazing out across the Pacific being wafted by a warm breeze was all we wanted. The amazing Kris ran the restaurant like a warm family home, a super mother to us all, and Ana was superb with her friendly table service as was Jay with his cheeky smile. And the bar makes a mean gin martini! Our Bure (27) was superb, highlighted by both the outdoor shower and also being the only Bure with a beach side viewing deck. (Thanks to it hiding a pumping station, but that was never a problem.) We left the air-con off every night relying on the cooling breeze coming through the insect protected wooden shuttered windows. And as far as the dining is concerned, both my wife and I will be on a strict diet on our return home. Tom, the Welsh chef, excelled at moulding local and imported produce into an extravaganza of dietary delight. We spent five glorious nights at the resort and could have stayed longer. Unfortunately we missed out giving goodbye hugs t0 Kris and Ana, but we hope they are aware we have sent them from our hearts. Having to leave we have promised ourselves, and to Tokoriki team, that we will be back. We heard there was one couple who have returned for over 30 visits. We can see why and will do our best to meet that challenge!
