Sauna is old but good. Balcony room is quiet and nice Summer. Service allways good this place. New food list good. Maybe need something local?

Very nice hotel in Kuopio Tori. Rooms are quiet and nice. Toriparkki parking place straight away to hotel. Breakfast good.

This hotel has a perfect location next the market place right in the centre of the city. Plenty of parking space below the market place. We stayed in a superior balcony room, which was very spacious and yes, had a spacious balcony too. The balcony itself was quite unwelcoming and had a dull view to a small street. They have decided to keep the old style in the hotel decor, which means there was a yellow carpet in the room, cherrywood furniture and red-orange curtains. Everything was in good condition though, very little wear and tear. You either like it or you don't. For me, this is perfect, I really, really don't like the usual modern Finnish white-grey style. The hotel breakfast room is a small but beautiful space. There were quite a lot of people at the breakfast, but the service was superior. There was plenty of food all the time and tables were cleared quickly.
