absolute gem of a place! - views are to die for! we didnt want to leave! - service was superb, nothing was a problem for them - we felt very welcome and looked after. all with smiles, true genuine and positive. - food was top notch - both breakfast (really plenty of fresh and local produce to choose from, they even had a pancake machine with batter pre-maid) and dinners. - Bear hide experience was superb as well - all arranged by the hotel we didnt need to do anything. got transferred there and back, well looked after. we saw bears, wolverine, fox, we experienced 24hrs light. surreal! - we took their guided mountain bike ride to Kuhmo and back, around 10k through the woods - the freshest air! guide was amazing, funny, passionate. showed us around. this is the place we will 100% be coming back for sure.

A cozy, well-kept hotel made of wood, which really connects with the beautiful nature of Finland in Kuhmo. Hotel has sauna and hottup. 3 kilometers from the small center which is easy to walk and easily accessible on a simple walking route but can also be done by step, Fatbike for example which you can rent. Food is prepared fresh every night and is very tasty. People are very welcoming and friendly, and enjoyed the many excursions and views here.

Great hotel. Clean nice room. Beautiful location. Lovely winter destination. Staff are very friendly. The breakfast is excellent. You can enjoy hiking in the area. Good view of the northern lights. Beautiful outdoor Jacuzzi
