Ordered queen-bed, got a twinroom. The hotel had no interest of fixing the problem. Breakfast was disappointing, especially the scrambled eggs and bacon. Bread Rolls was ok.

The Scandic Hotel in Kemi is located near the city center and within walking distance to the harbor area with its various attractions and restaurants. The hotel offers a variety of free parking spaces, and if needed, there are even more parking spaces in front of the S-Market. The reception at the hotel was very friendly, and checking in was very efficient and fast. The room was in good condition, even if you can tell that it has been in use for many years. Unfortunately, the curtains do not block out light well, so bringing and using sleep masks for the summer months is a clear recommendation. Unfortunately, this hotel, which is surprising for a Scandic hotel, does not have its own fitness room. There is apparently an arrangement with a local gym, which is at least an option. The breakfast certainly fulfills all wishes. Checking out was very efficient. The staff are really attentive and friendly.

Old and dirty, and manage to get room with no aircondition, outside was 27c and sunny so room was wery hot. Dust was everywhere and didn't get the couples bed asked for
