BEST WESTERN Hotel Samantta

Have been here on and off for a lunch and stay. The food is reasonable, kitchen - and restaurant staff are always polite and nice. I was however surprised to see that the owner of the place is very rude to all paying customers. I hope that somebody would teach the owner some manners and basics in how to greet and treat the people who bring in the money. I hence do not recommend this place.

We travelled with our four dogs. Room was good. It was clean and big enough (Junior suite) with dogs. Location is right in the city center. There is no extra charge for pets. Breakfast was very basic.

Stayed here as Oulu city hotels were all booked. The room itself was ok as it had been renovated and had modern bathroom and furniture. But it was dirty. Toilet had not been cleaned properly and the other bed was dirty, too. Shampoo dispenser in the shower was empty. Breakfast quality was poor. For example, eggs were cold, very hard boiled and coffee burned. Bacon looked such that I did not want to taste. So, there is room for improvement on many areas.
